Frank Gotwals - Bio and Resume Update
Hi from Stonington, Maine. I've been a commercial lobster fisherman for 33 years now, and performing music for almost 50! My parents introduced me to performance early, being musicians themselves, and I've been at it ever since. I don't travel as much as I used to but I'm still writing and playing my songs and working on a new CD. I have four recordings available, one for children. My songs have been played on radio stations all over the world and included in soundtracks for several documentaries and news features. One of my songs was recently recorded by Castle Bay, a wonderful husband and wife duo.
One thing I've really enjoyed in the past few years has been teaching elder hostel programs. I also continue to do songwriting and marine related programs for schools as well as solo performances. I've now worked with and performed with people aged newborn to 90 and enjoyed every minute of it.
